Evans Legacy Group focuses on two core programs:
Evans Scholarships – supporting high-potential students across 30+ countries through tuition assistance, long-term mentorship, and leadership development. Evans Medical Support – providing up to 70% funding for life-saving medications over a five-year period for patients with cancer, SMA, and HIV/AIDS in underserved countries.

Scholarship

Founded in 1930 with a single scholarship for a student in need, the Evans Scholarship has grown into one of the most impactful global human development initiatives. With a mission to empower through education, Evans Legacy Group has supported over 15,000 students from more than 30 countries on their journeys of personal growth and public contribution. The Evans Scholarship goes beyond tuition support. It includes: - Long-term mentorship and career guidance - Global leadership development programs - Academic exchange and community-building activities - Opportunities to join social and international projects led by Evans We seek applicants with strong academic potential, leadership capacity, a spirit of service, and a drive to make meaningful change. The scholarship is open to all—regardless of nationality, religion, or background—focused solely on potential and purpose. Evans Legacy Group is committed to walking alongside scholars not only during their academic years, but throughout their lives and careers. This is more than a scholarship—it is a gateway to a global network, a knowledge ecosystem, and a lifetime of support.
New Evans Scholars to enroll this fall GLENVIEW, IL – A record 360 students from across the country have been awarded the Evans Scholarship, a prestigious full housing and tuition college grant offered to golf caddies. This fall, they will begin college as Evans Scholars, attending a leading university nationwide. The Evans Scholarship is valued at more than $125,000 over four years. Event marks milestone in history of Evans Scholars Program at Kansas LAWRENCE, Kans. — The Evans Scholars Foundation and the University of Kansas celebrated the opening of the completely rebuilt Evans Scholarship House at Kansas with a dedication ceremony on Sunday, May 4. Kansas Evans Scholars and their families joined leaders of the Western Golf Association and the university, as well as Evans Scholars Alumni and other Program supporters for the special event at the new site, at 1314 Jayhawk Blvd. in Lawrence.
The foundations supporting our efforts enable us to award more Evans Scholarships while addressing the barriers to college completion faced by today's college students. In addition to financial relief, Evans Scholars benefit from academic, professional and social resources that help them navigate the college landscape as they pursue their education and career goals. We help these deserving young men and women secure a high-quality education, build a sustainable lifestyle and participate and flourish in the workplace. We receive nearly 100 grants from foundations all across the country each year. Below are just a few of the foundations supporting our work.
